Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a vital role as an Ultrasound Technologist, where your technical skill and compassionate care contribute directly to quality patient outcomes. This contract opportunity offers an afternoon-to-evening schedule, allowing flexibility and work-life balance.
Schedule/Hours:
12:30pm - 10:00pm
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures, including general, OB, and vascular scans. Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring providers to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes. Prepare and position patients while clearly communicating procedures and expectations. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal function and safety compliance. Accurately document and store patient images and records within system protocols. Adhere to infection control policies and contribute to an environment that prioritizes patient safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARDMS certification or equivalent credential in General and/or Vascular Sonography. Proficiency in performing obstetric, general, and vascular ultrasound studies. Demonstrated experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a healthcare setting. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient-focused mindset. Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to a varying patient population and caseload. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise diagnostic data.
