An Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer uses ultrasound technology to examine the inside of patients' bodies and diagnose medical conditions. Works closely with other healthcare specialists who assess and treat relevant conditions. Works in hospitals or other healthcare facilities.

PM Travel Contract Pay:
Up to $2815/weekly gross with max travel stipend for eligible travelers
Local Contract Pay:
Up to $65/hr
Key Responsibilities Perform Scans:
Execute comprehensive transthoracic, transesophageal, and assist with fetal echocardiograms.
Patient Care:
Explain procedures to pediatric patients and their families, maintaining a calm, child-friendly, and comfortable environment.
Data Analysis:
Obtain precise measurements, document hemodynamic parameters, and prepare preliminary study reports for physician review.
Equipment Management:
Calibrate, maintain, and sanitize advanced ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety.
Collaboration:
Partner with Pediatric Cardiologists, nurses, and clinical care teams to support multidisciplinary treatment plans.
Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and ICAEL (or equivalent) imaging and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, or a minimum of two years of college coursework focused on biological sciences.
Experience :
Minimum of 2-5 years of specialized pediatric cardiac sonography experience.
Required Certifications:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Pediatric Echocardiography via ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
Technical Skills:
Strong working background in pediatric echo imaging; proficiency with
EPIC EHR
