Summary :
Operates ultrasound equipment to produce ultrasound studies in two different fields of study with the appropriate credential i.e. general ultrasound/vascular ultrasound or vascular ultrasound/cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography.
Formal Education Required :
a. Registered in two of four fields of experience: Adult Cardiac, General Ultrasound, Pediatric Echocardiography, and Vascular Ultrasound (RVS, RVT, RDMS, RCS, RDCS).
Experience and Training Required:
a . Completion of a Sonography program from an accredited school of ultrasound technology. OR One (1) year of full-time ultrasound experience specific to field of posted position. b. Annually demonstrate completion of minimal procedure volume in each field necessary to meet accreditation standards. c. Basic Life Support.

a. Ability to assume collaborative relationship with physicians and other allied health care professionals. b. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, health care personnel, patients, families, and visitors. c. Ability to lift and transport patients and equipment. d. Ability to independently prioritize work and effectively resolve problems. e. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. f. Ability to instruct other staff members. g. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy. h. Employs collaboration and teamwork. i.
