Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Play a vital role in patient care by utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound imaging. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative medical team, providing high-quality diagnostic services and compassionate care to patients.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques and operation of related equipment Experience performing and interpreting diagnostic ultrasound procedures Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology Excellent communication abilities for working with healthcare professionals and patients Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and patient safety protocols
Schedule/Hours:
Consistent schedule, with shifts to be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety Analyze images for diagnostic quality and assist radiologists with interpretation as needed Maintain accurate patient and imaging records in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure equipment is checked and maintained for optimal performance Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process Follow all infection control and privacy guidelines to protect patient health and information This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering quality imaging services in a supportive and professional clinical setting.
