Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Take your expertise in echocardiography to a facility committed to excellent patient care. This contract role offers a 13-week opportunity for an experienced Echo Technologist with strong imaging skills to support the cardiology team.
Schedule:
5 x 8-hour shifts Day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Qualifications:
Current certification with ARDMS or CCI Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience performing echocardiograms and related imaging procedures Solid knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic echocardiographic studies for adult patients, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation Collaborate with cardiologists and medical staff to deliver accurate, timely results Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, observing safety and infection control standards Document patient histories and study findings clearly in electronic medical records Provide support to patients before, during, and after procedures, answering questions and offering reassurance Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and best practices
