Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. In this energetic and rewarding position, you'll utilize advanced ultrasound technology to capture detailed images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your expertise in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and anatomy will be essential in providing accurate assessments. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across Ob/Gyn, ensuring clear and precise imaging. Apply your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to optimize imaging techniques tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control during procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret images accurately and deliver comprehensive reports for diagnosis. Utilize medical terminology confidently when documenting findings and discussing results with medical staff. Adhere to all safety protocols related to medical imaging and diagnostic radiology practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience in sonography with a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques. Knowledge of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures, with an emphasis on maternal-fetal medicine preferred. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Hands-on experience performing ultrasound scans in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams effectively. $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
