Job Summary:
As the Sonographer, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, you will perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women. You will assist the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians in performing ultrasound-guided procedures and inform medical staff in the event of abnormal findings/results. You will prepare women for exams, including patient positioning to obtain the best possible images. You will participate in the clinical instruction of students as needed. REQUIREMENTS
Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have had the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible. Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date. If this is not completed, the employee will be terminated.
