Job Description

Responsibilities:
Job Summary Accesses the patient's condition Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures Assists physicians with procedures Assists in the maintenance of patient ultrasound exam information. Assists in maintaining the unit in working order Education Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Experience One year of experience preferred. Licensure/Certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible. Must obtain Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
