Opportunity:
OR LIC Vascular US Tech Job Details:
  • Vascular ultrasound technologist position (RVT) with 1:1 patient ratio
  • On-call required for 4 nights coverage
  • Daily census of 8-10 patients per technologist
  • No weekend requirements or block scheduling
  • Minimum 1 year recent prior experience in vascular ultrasound required
  • State license required (OBMI)
  • Required certifications:
ARDMS RVT, CCI
RVS, or
RDCS - RVT
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Must have vehicle for assignment
  • May float to affiliate hospitals nearby
  • Work with Phillips EPIQ ultrasound machine, Parks Flo-Lab, and Dolphin TCD machine
  • Skills include adult, aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex, emergency department, ICU, and various extremity studies
  • Serve all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Any color scrubs allowed; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
  • 16 hours average for non-billable orientation modules
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
