Overview:
Sentara is hiring an Echocardiographer for the Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, Virginia. This is a Part-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits. An Echocardiographer performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Specializes in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart. These professionals work closely with cardiologists to evaluate heart structures, functions, and blood flow, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application. Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
