  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and care, primarily focusing on limited echocardiograms, vascular, small parts, breast, abdominal, and more. They will also support other team members either as a medical assistant or office administrator as needed. Training is offered as needed. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care through advanced imaging techniques, ensuring accurate diagnosis and supporting clinical decision-making. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment in accordance with aseptic techniques. Duties Perform high-quality ultrasound scans, including limited echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, and carotid ultrasounds. Operate sonography equipment accurately while adhering to established medical protocols and safety standards. Interpret imaging results in collaboration with physicians, providing detailed reports for diagnosis. Maintain patient comfort and provide clear communication throughout the imaging process. Ensure all procedures are conducted using proper aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Document patient information accurately in medical records, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Assist in patient preparation and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety and improve cooperation. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and sonography practices through ongoing education. Experience Proven experience in medical imaging, specifically in sonography or diagnostic radiology. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging. Experience working with patients requiring sensitive care, demonstrating excellent communication skills. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within a clinical setting. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering exceptional patient care through precise imaging techniques while adhering to safety standards and maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
