OB/GYN Ultrasound Tech Denton Obstetrics and Gynecology Denton, TX Job Details Full-time From $50 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Interpersonal skills Sonography Ob/Gyn Patient interaction Medical imaging ARRT Certification Full Job Description We are seeking a Ultrasound Technician to perform routine and complex OB/GYN Sonographic Imaging procedures on ambulatory patients in a Physician Office Setting as requested by a physician or other licensed provider and under general supervision of a Physician in accordance with established protocols. The Ultrasound Technician will perform Ultrasound examinations that include a variety of conditions ranging from routine OB/GYN to high risk obstetrical scans to include nuchal translucency, and sonographic guidance for procedures. The Ultrasound Technician must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients and be sure they are comfortable and at ease during the exam, and provide care to the patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation. The Ultrasound Technician operates all ultrasound equipment effectively in order to consistently and accurately recognize anatomical structures visualized during procedure and assures operation of Ultrasound equipment by performing quality checks following manufacturer's recommendations and trouble-shooting equipment as required, and calling in repairs when necessary. The ideal candidate is compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills, is detailed oriented and able to explain the procedure to patients.
