1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with RVT or VS certification and vascular sonography experience for a 13-week travel assignment. Details Hospital-based Ultrasound department in a 350+ bed facility Unit staffed with 8 sonographers across day, mid, and night shifts Performs general diagnostic ultrasound imaging, biopsies, drains, DVT studies, and transplant work-ups Uses GE Radiology ultrasound equipment Meditech EMR 13-week assignment with 7:00 AM-7:00 PM shifts, Friday through Sunday May float between EMD, inpatient, and outpatient areas Rotating call required, either one week per month or one weekend per month Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required ARRT (VS) or ARDMS (RVT) certification required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted) Vascular sonography experience required Experience using GE ultrasound machines preferred Experience assisting radiologists with ultrasound procedures preferred License required if applicable Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Team-oriented environment that values initiative and collaboration Charcoal grey scrubs and leather shoes required Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
