13 Weeks (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Hours:
42 hours per week
On-Call:
Required (
Weekdays:
5:00 PM•8:00 AM;
Weekends:
24-hour coverage)
Weekend Requirement:
Yes (On-call basis)

Not Available Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician specializing in Vascular and Echocardiography to join a dynamic acute care team. This role requires advanced competency in both vascular imaging and cardiac ultrasound procedures, supporting accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial and venous exams Conduct echocardiography procedures, including adult echo, contrast echo, and treadmill stress echocardiograms Operate ultrasound and echocardiography equipment with precision and efficiency Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain exam processes Acquire high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Monitor patient condition during procedures to ensure safety and comfort Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for timely diagnosis and care planning Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience in both vascular ultrasound and echocardiography Proficiency in adult echo, contrast echo, and stress echocardiography Ability to work independently with no training provided Experience in a fast-paced acute care setting High level of attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy Ability to manage patient volume (approximate ratio 8:1) Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related program Certifications & Licensure Current ARDMS or equivalent sonography certification (required) Active certification must be valid at time of submission BLS/CPR certification (as required by facility policy) For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
