Our client is currently seeking a Ultrasound Technologist Schedule- 8-5, Monday through Friday. •Also open to 4, 10 hour shifts. This job will have the following responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial and venous examinations of the upper and lower extremities. Performing carotid duplex, abdominal vascular, peripheral arterial, venous insufficiency, and other vascular imaging studies. Ensuring all studies are completed accurately and according to established protocols and physician requirements. Reviewing patient history and explaining procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during examinations. Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Recognizing abnormal findings and communicating urgent or significant results to physicians when appropriate. Documenting exam findings and completing reports accurately and timely. Working closely with Cardiologists and other clinical staff to ensure quality patient care. Maintaining compliance with departmental, regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards. Assisting with patient scheduling, workflow management, and other departmental support activities as needed. Uploading, reviewing, and managing images through PACS and related imaging systems. Required Qualifications & Experience Certifications Required RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) OR RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) OR RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) OR RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) Experience Minimum 1 year of direct clinical experience performing vascular ultrasound studies. Experience in all phases of vascular testing/studies. Proven ability to perform vascular examinations to the satisfaction of cardiologists and according to established clinical standards.
