- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As an Ultrasound Coordinator, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team.
In this role:
+ You will be responsible for all first-line supervision of Ultrasound personnel and coordination of activities within both the General and Women's Ultrasound department. + You coordinate activities involved with ACR accreditation and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. + You will perform diagnostic ultrasound tests on all age groups, scanning patients' pelvic or abdominal areas under general supervision and following established policies and procedures. In doing so, you will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, masses, development of fetuses, peripheral vascular and cardiac areas. + Interpersonal skills necessary to explain procedures to patients and allay apprehensions. + You will be responsible for assessment, treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served. + You will demonstrate your knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patients' needs.- What qualifications you will need:
- + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer + Associate Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
