1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a freestanding emergency room setting, with experience in pediatric sonography required. Details Freestanding emergency room setting with a 16-bed ER General ultrasound unit with no floating between units required Pediatric patient population including neonates, infants, and children requiring studies for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis Day and night shifts available, both 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Every other weekend required Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience Proficiency scanning neonates, infants, and pediatric patients for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis Epic EMR proficiency required Active professional license required if applicable Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Minimal to no RTO is strongly preferred for this position Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
