Summary:
Performs and assesses ultrasounds to assist in the diagnosis of disease, works effectively with patients and families, and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Responsible for ultrasound/sonographic examinations, including two-dimensional, Doppler, and M-mode.- 2.Responsible for patient preparation, including obtaining vital signs and recording on charts.
- 3.Responsible for patient relations, including providing information to patient's family members.
- 4.Responsible for liaison communication between patients, physicians, and supervisor.
- 5.Responsible for clinical/technical area supplies.
- 6.Responsible for EKG examinations.
- 7.Travels to any area as needed.
