Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging by utilizing your expertise as an Ultrasound Vascular Tech/Sonographer. Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent required. Competency in vascular ultrasound imaging, including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies. Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and safety procedures. At least one year of experience in a clinical vascular ultrasound environment preferred. BLS certification required. High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound studies and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for exams, obtaining relevant medical history and explaining procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety. Accurately capture and document diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Maintain ultrasound equipment, adhere to infection prevention standards, and troubleshoot minor technical issues. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical professionals to provide integrated patient care. Maintain thorough and up-to-date patient records.
