This contract opportunity requires a dedicated imaging professional with exceptional skill in Ultrasound Vascular studies, providing pivotal support to patient care teams.
Key Qualifications:
Certified Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer with current credentials Minimum of 2 years of recent experience specializing in vascular ultrasound procedures Proficient in operation and maintenance of ultrasound imaging equipment Strong knowledge of sonographic physics, vascular anatomy, and pathology Detail-oriented, with accurate documentation and image acquisition skills Capable of working independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies (arterial, venous, and carotid) for diagnostic evaluation Review physicians' orders, prepare equipment and ensure exam appropriateness before imaging Assess, position, and educate patients to optimize imaging quality and safety Document and present findings, record measurements, and ensure images meet diagnostic standards Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians for timely follow-ups Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and functionality of ultrasound machines Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols at all times
