Qualifications:
Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficiency in general ultrasound procedures (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts) Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Valid state licensure or eligibility as required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team-focused environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations, ensuring diagnostic-quality images Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nurses for optimal patient care Prepare and position patients, review clinical histories, and explain procedures with sensitivity Maintain meticulous imaging records and equipment operation logs Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
