Associate Veterinarian Location:
Huntsville, AL Practice Type:
Small Animal, Privately Owned Schedule:
4 full days per week, no weekends About Us We are a growing, full-service 5 doctor small animal veterinary practice committed to high-quality, individualized medical care for dogs and cats. Located in Huntsville, AL, a growing city bustling with a blend of high tech, friendly Southern charm, and still in touch with nature, there's plenty for everyone here or close by, with lower costs of living compared to similar cities. Whether you've recently graduated or been in the trenches awhile, we're looking for someone who values quality medicine, teamwork, and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets while encouraging open communication, teamwork and mentorship to our staff. Our practice is equipped with up-to-date equipment including in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital dental x-rays, DR x-ray, and endoscopy equipment. We also utilize services of many local and nearby ER and specialty hospitals to offer our clients and patients the opportunity for best care benefits. We believe recent graduates thrive with the right support, so we've built an environment where learning is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and growth is intentional among all staff

What You'll Do Provide compassionate, high-quality medical care to companion animals Conduct wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans Perform surgeries and procedures, including dentals, with appropriate mentorship and support Collaborate with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff Build relationships with clients through clear communication, education, and empathy Continue learning through hands-on experience and CE opportunities What We're Looking For Associate DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school Licensed in good standing or license-eligible in AL Eligible to obtain DEA licensure Possesses a professional and courteous manner with strong communication skills and compassion for patients and clients Team-oriented mindset Eager to learn and interest in continued learning and professional growth Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive leadership without ego Medicine-first mindset— not corporate quotas Consistent team and leadership you can build relationships with Skilled technicians who truly support doctors A culture that values kindness, growth, and sustainability in veterinary medicine We believe veterinary medicine should be rewarding—not exhausting.
