A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

8:00 AM-4:00 PM We generally schedule 30-minute appointments and also accommodate walk-ins, urgent cases, surgeries, and hospitalized patients depending on staffing and patient flow. Some days are naturally busier than others. We do not believe veterinary medicine should be practiced according to an artificial patient quota. Compensation We are open to structuring compensation according to the veterinarian's experience, desired schedule, and professional goals. For a full-time veterinarian, we anticipate a competitive annual salary in the range of $150,000-$190,000 , with the potential for production-based compensation. For veterinarians seeking a consistent part-time relationship, we are also open to discussing a guaranteed daily rate and/or production-based compensation.
