Associate Veterinarians for GP/UC Private Practice in Southern California The Bixby Animal Clinic veterinary hospital group has been serving the pet owners of Southern California since 2005. Bixby Animal Hospital & Urgent Care , our 4th location in Torrance, CA, offers a full range of care to our patients. Bixby Animal Hospital & Urgent Care joins Bixby Animal Clinic in Long Beach, Lakewood Pet Vet in Lakewood, and Lincoln Animal Hospital in Cypress, as the largest GP/Urgent Care private practice group in the South Bay. As committed private practice hospitals, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to our clients and exceptional medical care to our patients. Besides wellness, sick pet, and walk-in appointments, our Associates perform surgeries on a wide variety of cases. Our facility works hand in hand with board-certified internists, dermatologists, cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, and criticalists, so we're able to keep our cases in-house. You'll have the freedom that a private practice offers to practice medicine the way you want, while having the backing of experienced DVM colleagues as you pursue professional growth. We've also made a significant investment in our team members so you can focus on delivering the highest quality medicine. Every Associate is supported by a Doctor's Assistant in addition to RVTs, Vet Assistants, and Pharmacy Technician, all dedicated to our mission of providing excellent patient outcomes. Our hospitals have 8 exam rooms, two surgery suites, large doctors' office, separate dog and cat wards, and is outfitted with all the latest equipment, including: Digital full-body radiography and digital dental radiography In-house lab with Idexx Catalyst, SnapPro, Abaxis PTPTT, and CBC machines Full suite of dental equipment Endoscopy Cold laser Ultrasound ICU (oxygen) Cage In-house and online pharmacy Compensation and Benefits $160k - $180k base salary, depending on experience Signing bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates Quarterly commission payments and no negative accrual Flexible 3 and 4-day work weeks 3 weeks annual PTO Annual allowance for CE plus 1 week paid time to attend Paid dues and licensing fees for AVMA, DEA, and VMB Professional liability insurance 100% company-paid health insurance with optional HSA, vision, and dental insurance $50k life and disability insurance paid by company 401k with company match Personal pet discounts Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree awarded by an AVMA-accredited program Licensed to practice in California Verification of U.S. work authorization prior to start date Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visa applicants at this time.
