We are searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values teamwork, has a great work ethic, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture. We're an excellent choice for experienced doctors who are searching for collaboration. A strong interest in surgery and dentistry is highly preferred. Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in the state of Colorado for consideration. This is a full-time role, ideally comprised of 4 weekdays and Saturday rotation. There are no emergency or on-call services for this position. Core Competencies DVM/VMD from an accredited program Licensed veterinarian (or eligible) in Colorado 3+ years of hands-on clinical veterinarian experience preferred Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills Passion for high-quality patient care and client service As our next Associate, you will: Collaborate with our doctors (3FT, 2PT) and talented support team (includes multiple CVTs) Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community Provide loving care to small animals and a peace of mind to their humans Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities Have medical freedom to practice skills you're proficient in or explore areas you'd like to learn The Wellshire culture and vision: Our mission is to cultivate lifelong relationships by helping your pets live their best lives with the people who love them. Dr. Etheridge and Dr. Watterud have more than four decades of experience in the veterinary field and are eager to elevate those numbers with the addition of another experienced DVM. Our new, state-of-the-art facility (including minimally-invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment) allows the team to provide the highest quality of medical and surgical care while maintaining a very personal touch. We aim to rekindle the soul of veterinary medicine in Wellshire (and beyond) and are eager to grow our team to achieve this. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range for this opportunity is $115,000
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
