With our brand-new Denver location now open, we are looking for talented professionals to join our collaborative rehabilitation team in Denver and Boulder, Colorado. Walking Paws offers a unique alternative to traditional veterinary practice. Our beautiful, spa-like facilities are designed around quality medicine, one-on-one patient care, long appointment times, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. If you love helping patients improve their mobility, comfort, and quality of life—but are looking for a different pace and environment than traditional GP or emergency medicine—we would love to meet you! Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school Current Colorado veterinary license, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure Strong interest in canine rehabilitation, pain management, mobility, and improving quality of life Rehabilitation certification preferred but not required; Walking Paws is open to supporting certification for the right candidate Veterinarians transitioning from general practice, emergency, specialty, sports medicine, or other clinical settings are encouraged to apply Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and clearly communicate recommendations to pet owners Comfortable working collaboratively with veterinarians, physical therapists, and certified rehabilitation professionals Excellent communication and client-education skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary medicine Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely medical records Interest in continued learning and professional development Availability for a consistent part-time or full-time schedule at our Denver and/or Boulder location
