Working Here, You Will Love:
Medical and surgical excellence: Seeing a variety of cases including acute and chronic disease patients, as well as routine and advanced surgical procedures - spay/neuter, mass removals, foreign bodies, dental extractions, etc.
A high standard of care:
Providing client education and preventive care for wellness patients and offering comprehensive treatment options for sick patients. Working with our collaborative, 3 DVM team and skilled support staff in recently renovated, thoughtfully planned facility. The ability to be able to pursue your passion for exceptional animal care without sacrificing your schedule and a healthy work-life balance . Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent Active veterinarian license to practice in the state of Connecticut, or license-eligible Experienced in companion animal medicine Interest in a mix of medicine and surgical cases A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics Benefits Competitive ProSal , with a garuanateed base salary plus transparent production Health/Dental/Vision insurance with HSA and FSA options 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions Student loan assistance for early career candidates - up to $12,000 per year for 4 years ‍ Continuing Education (CE) allowance of $2,500 annually + paid 3 CE days Licensing & dues paid for state license renewal, DEA, and AVMA membership Paid Time Off (PTO) , holidays, and paid parental maternity/paternity leave ‍ ️ Wellness and mental health tools to fit your personalized needs with Calm Health, Teladoc, Kindly Human, Fertility Advocacy, and NB Fitness Pet care discounts for your furry family members Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials with an annual base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 for full-time employment , plus production.
