at State of Delaware in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description The Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission is accepting applications for a Delaware Licensed Equine Veterinary Technician. This employee would be under the direct supervision of the Commission Veterinarians. To view the entire job announcement and apply, Click Here . Applicants must have education, training, and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Possession of a current Delaware Veterinary Technician license issued by the Delaware Veterinary Board. Ability to obtain and maintain required
HISA/HIWU
registration. At least two (2) years of experience working with equines, including handling, restraint, and sample collection. Knowledge of safe handling procedures for horses and standard veterinary practices for equine care. Knowledge of handling administrative tasks including recordkeeping, inventory management, and data entry.
