Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Veterinarian to join our dynamic veterinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal health and welfare, combined with comprehensive veterinary experience across various species. As a Licensed Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care, performing diagnostic procedures, and ensuring the well-being of animals under your care. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary practice, client communication, and animal handling. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose health issues in a variety of animals, utilizing veterinary terminology and clinical knowledge. Perform surgical procedures, including animal catheterization and aseptic techniques, ensuring safety and efficacy Assist in emergency critical care situations, applying veterinary critical care experience to stabilize and treat severely ill animals. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, including dog handling and general animal husbandry practices. Maintain detailed medical records and laboratory documentation to support ongoing patient care. Educate pet owners on animal physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and general pet care best practices to foster responsible ownership. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Veterinarian in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification. Veterinary experience with a focus on animal handling, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory procedures. Proven expertise in veterinary critical care and emergency response protocols. Demonstrated ability to perform animal restraint effectively with small animals. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and pet owners while maintaining a compassionate approach.
