A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

Tobias Veterinary Services is a full-service small animal mobile veterinary practice located just outside of Gainesville, FL, the home of the University of Florida. Tobias Vet Services has five high-top cargo vans that are fully stocked with digital radiology units, pulse oximetry, ECG machines, tonometry, and blood pressure measurement. The vans also have fully stocked pharmacies on board. The practice utilizes a cloud based practice management software, and every veterinarian travels with one to two technicians each day. Tobias Vet Services is run by a
CVPM/CVT
with multiple additional certifications, and the owner also works as a veterinarian on the road. We focus on high quality of care medicine as well as exemplary customer service. The practice is open Monday through Friday, and is closed on weekends and federal holidays. Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent, and have at least three years of clinical practice experience. Mentorship and professional development coaching are also available. Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
