A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Associate Veterinarian Wanted - Okeechobee Veterinary Hospital Ready to build something meaningful? We're looking for a motivated, compassionate, and driven Associate Veterinarian to join our fast-paced, well-established small animal practice with 40+ years of trusted care in the community. What we offer:
$140,000 base salary (Year 1) 20% production (no negative accrual first year) $150K-$180K+ earning potential in Year 1 $10,000 sign-on bonus CE allowance, dues, licenses covered 401(k) with 4% match Flexible schedule (40-hour work week) Mentorship + real growth opportunities in surgery, emergency, and general practice.
