A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

As the only dedicated emergency veterinary hospital within a two-hour radius, our veterinary team plays a critical role in delivering expert emergency care when pets need it most.
Our hospital provides comprehensive emergency examinations, urgent care, surgery, hospitalization, intensive care, isolation capabilities, oxygen support, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and ultrasonography. Our state-of-the-art veterinary hospital is equipped with advanced tools including digital X-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, Ligasure, cautery, Snyder units, and advanced anesthesia machines that allow every Emergency Veterinarian to practice high-quality medicine with confidence.
What truly sets our hospital apart is our commitment to supporting Veterinarians. We host RACE-approved CE sessions right in our conference room, creating meaningful opportunities for every DVM to continue learning, stay current on veterinary best practices, and strengthen clinical confidence.
Our hospital also offers on-site sleeping quarters, giving every Emergency Veterinarian a comfortable place to rest between shifts and making overnight schedules significantly more manageable.
