Overview We're seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care. You'll perform exams, develop treatment plans, handle routine surgeries, and partner with clients on their pets' care. DVM with active state license required. About Mountain View Animal Hospital Mountain View Animal Hospital is a family focused animal hospital, and our purpose is to care for those furry members of your family, specifically dogs and cats, while caring for our staff and their family. We have built a warm environment for our customers to feel welcome in, and as a no-appointment necessary hospital, our clinic is open to anyone that needs to be seen same day (given the line isn't too long). Description Associate Veterinarian — Job Description Responsibilities Perform wellness exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans Conduct routine and soft-tissue surgeries, dental procedures, and emergency care Interpret diagnostics (bloodwork, radiographs, etc.) Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and costs Maintain accurate medical records Collaborate with and help mentor support staff Requirements DVM or equivalent from an accredited program Active (or eligible) state veterinary license DEA registration (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment Preferred 1+ years of clinical experience (new grads welcome) Comfort with a range of surgical and dental procedures Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary or ProSal Health insurance, PTO, and CE allowance Professional dues and license reimbursement Salary $100,000 - $120,000 per year
