Part-Time Associate Veterinarian Countryside Animal Hospital is looking to welcome a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to our privately owned, independent practice in Covington, Georgia. About Our Practice We are a multi-doctor practice supported by an outstanding team of experienced technicians, assistants, customer service representatives, and kennel staff who work together to create a collaborative and positive workplace. Since opening our doors in 1991, we've proudly served the Covington community and surrounding areas with a commitment to progressive medicine and exceptional customer service. Our hospital is equipped with modern technology to help our doctors practice the highest standard of medicine, including: Digital radiography In-house laboratory Ultrasonography Endoscopy Therapeutic laser Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) Phovia light therapy Advanced diagnostics We continue to invest in our hospital, our team, and the tools needed to provide outstanding patient care. The Opportunity We're looking for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment and values building lasting relationships with clients. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian looking for a flexible schedule or someone seeking a better work-life balance, we'd love to talk with you. Mentorship is available for newer graduates, while experienced veterinarians will have the autonomy to build their caseload, pursue special interests, and help shape the future of our practice. If you have a passion for an area of medicine we don't currently offer—such as hospice and euthanasia services, in-home care, exotic medicine, or another specialty—we're always open to expanding our services. Schedule We are flexible and willing to work with the right candidate.
Part-time scheduling options may include:
3 days per week Flexible weekday scheduling Rotating Saturday mornings No overnight emergency duty Compensation Competitive salary Production-based bonus opportunities available Benefits Benefits for part-time team members may include: 401(k) with company matching (where eligible) Employee discounts at Countryside Animal Hospital & Countryside Equine Hospital Continuing education support AVMA and GVMA dues (negotiable based on schedule) Professional liability insurance Supportive, collaborative team environment Requirements We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Small Animal Associate Veterinarian who has: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree Eligibility for Georgia veterinary licensure Excellent communication skills A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset A passion for practicing progressive, high-quality medicine Interest in surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, or another area of medicine is welcomed but not required Why Countryside?
