Practice Overview Furry Friends Veterinary Hospital is a thriving 2017 start-up, 4-doctor small animal practice. Our newly remodeled, clean facility is equipped with everything you need to provide exceptional medicine and surgery (including digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, new ultrasound and more). We pride ourselves on being a laid-back, fun place to work while focusing on delivering outstanding care to our patients. Owner DVM, Dr. Cody Kalmon has a passion for surgery (including some orthopedics), oncology, endocrinology and lifelong learning. What You'll Be Working On Build and maintain client relationships Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases Perform small animal surgeries with opportunities for mentorship if desired Maintain a positive and low drama supportive work environment Guide and utilize exceptional support staff Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM,VDM) from an accredited program is required Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Indiana Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Strong communication skills Positive team player who motivates staff with encouragement Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail What's In It For You A four-day work week with no Saturdays or emergencies Health, Dental, Vision and Short-term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Licensing fees covered CE Stipend 401K with up to 4% match Exceptional mentorship is available for those interested We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
