Associate Veterinarian Responsibilities As a veterinarian on our team, you will: Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals and exotic pets Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries Conduct dental procedures and preventative care services Develop diagnostic and treatment plans Educate clients on pet health and wellness Collaborate with an experienced veterinary support team Maintain high standards of patient care and client communication What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will: Hold a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree Be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Montana Have prior clinical experience in companion animal medicine Be confident performing surgery and dentistry Excel in client communication and case management Be comfortable making diagnostic and procedural recommendations Thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, preference will be given to veterinarians with experience in: Exotic animal medicine Avian medicine and surgery Reptile and small mammal care Multi-species veterinary practice Schedule & Work-Life Balance This full-time position offers flexible scheduling, allowing our veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while enjoying everything that makes Missoula one of the best places to live and work in the Mountain West.
