Chatham Veterinary Service Associate Veterinarian Wanted Location:

competitive/based upon experience Who We Are At Chatham Veterinary Service , we believe in providing exceptional, compassionate care to our furry patients while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our team. We are an independently owned small animal practice dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond through high-quality medicine, preventative care, and client education. We recently in December of 2024 opened a brand new facility containing 5 exam rooms and 1 comfort room with the most current state of the art furnishings and equipment. We are located conviently right in the middle of the state - 20-30 minutes virtually to Greensboro, Asheboro, Sanford, Cary and Raleigh The Opportunity We are looking for a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. Whether you are a seasoned DVM looking for a new work family or a passionate recent graduate seeking strong mentorship, we have a place for you! You will enjoy clinical autonomy while working alongside a skilled, well-trained support staff of technicians and assistants.
What You'll Do Practice High-Quality Medicine:
Perform thorough physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive medical and surgical treatment plans.
Surgery & Dentistry:
Perform routine soft tissue surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals) and basic dental procedures. (Advanced surgical or specialized interests are highly encouraged!) We also have a boarded surgeon that comes for more complex procedures. Imaging - full DR Radiograph system, Dental Radiography, Ultrasound unit to use in house. We also have a DVM that comes in and does complete ultrasounds as needed as well as echocardiograms.
Client Education:
Build long-term relationships with clients by clearly communicating diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care.
Collaborative Care:
mentor support staff, and work together with our team to maintain a positive, stress-free clinic culture. What You Need (Qualifications)
Education:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university.
License:
Active, in-good-standing state veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
Certifications:
Current DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
