Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team at Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our growing veterinary team. We are a progressive, multi-service veterinary hospital focused on delivering exceptional medical care while creating meaningful relationships with our clients and patients. Compensation and Benefits Salary:

Responsibilities Perform physical examinations, diagnose health issues, and develop treatment plans Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals Perform surgical and dental procedures Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards Build strong long-term relationships with clients and patients Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and instructions to pet owners. Strong animal handling skills, including dog handling and general pet care practices. Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices for emergency situations requires immediate attention. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform animal catheterization, laboratory procedures, and maintain sterile environments. Laboratory experience related to diagnostic testing or sample analysis is highly desirable. Effective communication skills for explaining complex medical information clearly to pet owners.
