  • Full-time Veterinary Oncology Specialist (DACVIM Oncology) Huntington, Long Island, New York | No out-of-hours | $250,000 to $275,000 base plus production A rare opportunity has opened for a Veterinary Oncologist to join a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary specialty centre on Long Island's scenic North Shore.

The practice This is a leading, well-established multidisciplinary specialty centre serving the greater Long Island area. The team brings together board-certified specialists across Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Behavior and Theriogenology, so you would be collaborating daily with colleagues who care deeply about their patients, their clients and each other. The centre is in the middle of an exciting expansion, adding: 8,000 sq ft of additional treatment space A second operating room Six further exam rooms A dedicated CT suite Upgrades to the in-house laboratory It is a fantastic time to join and help shape a growing service. Who we are looking for A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM) in Oncology, or a residency-trained veterinarian practising limited to oncology Active New York licensure, or license-eligible to practise in the state of New York A collaborative team player who wants to work alongside great colleagues and practise excellent medicine Package and benefits Base salary of $250,000 to $275,000 , negotiable on experience and credentials A percentage of production with a transparent bonus structure Sign-on bonus and additional pay incentives available Annual $5,000 CE allowance for specialists, plus four dedicated CE days Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance 401k retirement plan with company match Paid time off and paid parental leave (maternity and paternity) State and DEA licensure fees and membership dues covered Professional liability insurance Professional development programmes and employee discounts How to apply: To find out more or to apply in confidence, get in touch with Sophie Gould at Lloyd & Cowan.
