Urgent Care Veterinarian The Pet Clinic of Springfield Full-Time or Part-Time | Evenings (4p-10p),
Weekends & Holidays Location:
Ohio We are opening the first dedicated veterinary urgent care clinic of its kind in our area, and we are seeking 1-2 Associate Veterinarians to help us build something meaningful for our community. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality urgent care while acting as a trusted partner to local primary care veterinarians. We are not a replacement for general practice — we are a support system that ensures pets receive timely care when their regular clinic is unavailable. Why This Role is Different No overnights Structured 4p-10p shifts True urgent care model (not full ER) Collaborative relationships with local clinics Opportunity to help shape protocols and culture from the ground up Visible community impact This schedule won't be for everyone — but for the right candidate, it offers: Daytime flexibility Predictable hours Focused caseloads Meaningful medicine without 12-hour ER shifts Responsibilities Diagnose and treat urgent, non-critical cases Perform common urgent procedures Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Ensure timely record sharing with referring/primary veterinarians Contribute to workflow and protocol development Qualifications DVM or equivalent degree Active Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfort with urgent case management Team-oriented mindset
Compensation:
