Job Description

Countryside Animal Hospital, a full-service companion animal hospital, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned, well-established small-animal practice in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Countryside Animal Hospital is a sister practice to a large animal practice, DeNaples Equine, which offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and expanding organization. We are seeking a qualified, open-minded veterinarian to join our team and contribute to both the optimization of our current practice and our long-term growth goals in the region. Applications are welcome from licensed veterinarians, including experienced associates as well as recent graduates who are eager to grow professionally. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing medical and surgical services and motivated to develop their career within a collaborative practice environment. About the Practice Countryside Animal Hospital is a growing small-animal hospital committed to adapting, evolving, and expanding both within our facility and throughout the surrounding community. We are seeking an additional veterinarian who is flexible, team-oriented, and receptive to growth and change, with a desire to help elevate and expand the services offered to our clients and patients. Our practice is built on a foundation of exceptional patient care, strong client relationships, and open communication. We are a client-centered hospital, focusing on understanding and addressing the individual needs and concerns of each pet owner. Through collaboration and education, we work closely with clients to ensure their pets receive high-quality care, compassionate treatment, and an excellent quality of life throughout every stage of their lifetime. Some of our services and facilities support: Preventive and wellness care focused on maintaining lifelong health, including comprehensive physical examinations, vaccination protocols, parasite prevention, nutritional guidance, and individualized care plans Early disease detection and treatment through consistent patient monitoring, thorough diagnostics, and evidence-based medical protocols designed to identify and address health concerns at the earliest possible stage Advanced diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography and ultrasound, to support accurate diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and timely treatment planning Comprehensive medical and surgical services delivered in accordance with established veterinary standards, including anesthesia monitoring, pain management, and complete perioperative care Location Countryside Animal Hospital is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Region, centrally positioned between New York City and Philadelphia, offering a balance of professional opportunity and outdoor lifestyle.
