What You'll Do As an Associate Veterinarian, you will: Provide comprehensive wellness and preventive care, including annual examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, and client education. Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions in canine and feline patients. Manage urgent care appointments, including same-day illnesses, injuries, wound management, gastrointestinal concerns, lameness, and other non-life-threatening emergencies. Perform routine soft tissue surgeries such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and other procedures based on experience and interest. Develop diagnostic and treatment plans utilizing in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography, and other diagnostic tools. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service representatives to deliver outstanding patient care. Participate in developing hospital protocols, workflows, and medical standards as our practice grows. Foster a welcoming, respectful, and team-oriented culture for both staff and clients. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Eligible for veterinary licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to practicing evidence-based medicine with compassion and professionalism. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
