A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.
Associate Veterinarian (Part-Time | Full-Time Considered) Kennett Square, PA Cypress Veterinary Clinic is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment, opened in May 2022. We are a three-doctor (7-22 years of experience), privately owned, woman- and mom-owned small animal hospital looking for a warm, capable associate veterinarian to join our team. This position is part-time, but we won't turn away the right full-time candidate. We see dogs and cats. We are equipped, and the staff is trained with exotics if there is an interest.
Schedule:
TWO 8am-6pm shifts for appointments only. N o weekends or holidays If interested in surgery/dentistry an additional 3rd half day shift is possible 20 hours/week for two days of appointments OR ~26 hours/week if surgery day Clinic closes at 6 PM, last appointment at 5:30 PM Schedule flexibility to help cover fellow
