We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and a passion for providing high-quality veterinary services. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our loyal clients and their pets while delivering personalized, preventive medical care. As a veterinarian, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper preventative care. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy a peaceful combination of country life without being far away from the city! Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status. Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions in pets and livestock. Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care. Administer vaccinations and medications according to established protocols. Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. Valid veterinary license to practice in the State of South Carolina. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases. Experience with animal restraint techniques and handling various species, including dogs and equines. Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics. Skills in veterinary critical care and animal catheterization are highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
