The Role As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll provide high-quality emergency and urgent care to a varied companion animal caseload while working within a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive emergency examinations and diagnostic evaluations. Developing treatment plans and delivering high-quality emergency medical care. Collaborating closely with specialists, veterinary nurses, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Contributing to the continual development of clinical protocols and hospital standards. Maintaining accurate medical records while delivering outstanding client communication and compassionate care. Participating in continuing education initiatives and remaining up to date with advances in emergency veterinary medicine. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Active South Carolina veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain licensure. Eligibility to work within the United States. Excellent clinical judgement, diagnostic ability, and communication skills.
