Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinarian, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, perform surgical procedures, and deliver compassionate pet care across a diverse range of species. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals of various species, including dogs, cats, equines, and exotic pets. Perform surgical procedures such as spaying, neutering, wound repair, and other necessary interventions with precision and care. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments while explaining procedures clearly to pet owners. Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to document findings and communicate effectively with team members. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and ensure their comfort during examinations and treatments. Apply aseptic techniques during surgeries and invasive procedures to prevent infections. Assist in laboratory testing and interpret results related to animal physiology and anatomy to guide treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of animal care, treatment plans, and medical histories following best practices in animal husbandry. Demonstrate expertise in animal handling across different species with a focus on safety for both animals and staff. Collaborate with team members on emergency critical care cases requiring veterinary critical care experience or equine experience when applicable. Experience Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in general animal health management. Prior exposure to veterinary critical care environments or emergency situations is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with animal restraint techniques across multiple species including dogs and horses. Laboratory experience related to diagnostic testing or sample analysis is preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care best practices is essential.
