Our team is passionate about providing exceptional care for animals and supporting the pet owners who love them. We prioritize building strong relationships with our clients and patients by ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate care in a comforting environment. We are seeking a fourth full or part time associate to join our team. We practice progressive medicine and quality care in a beautiful, state of the art, 4500+ square foot free-standing facility that is located in a wonderful growing family-oriented community. Quality work life balance is a priority with a 3 to 4 day work week and rotating Saturdays from 9-12 that are shared between all doctors (averaging one Saturday every 6-8 weeks). A typical work week schedule includes two to three outpatient days seeing appointments from 8:30am to 5:30 pm with a 2 hour break mid-day and one designated surgery day a week. We do not see after hours emergencies and we are closed every second and fourth Saturday of the month. There are multiple 24-hour emergency facilities and referral centers available nearby and we have a clientele that desires the best for their pets. We are a large enough practice to invest in the tools that help us to provide great care while being small enough to know and care about our clients and each other. With over forty years of combined experience, our doctors collaborate and enjoy working with each other and are happy to provide mentorship to a new graduate. We have in-house and send out IDEXX diagnostics, digital radiography including two dental units, ultrasound, surgical CO2 laser and cold therapy laser, a fully equipped surgical suite, two dental stations with dentalaire equipment and more. We also practice in a bright and clean updated space that we are proud of with an excellent support team including a practice manager, receptionists, veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants. Compensation is based on production with a guaranteed base salary. We also offer benefits including but not limited to medical, dental and eye insurance, vacation, DEA and licensing fees, uniform allowance, association dues, CE allowance, and retirement benefits with 3% match. Please check us out at timberridgeamc.com Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status Developing and implementing treatment plans, including administering vaccinations, medications and care Using excellent communication skills while educating clients about the care of their pet Performing surgeries and dental procedures as needed Maintain accurate electronic medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress in a timely manner Reacting quickly and making informed decisions under pressure to ensure the well-being of animals Collaborating with a dedicated and skilled veterinary support team to deliver excellent and compassionate care to both pets and their owners Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas Excellent professional interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members Compassionate team player who can uphold great communication and reputation with clients If you are passionate about animal health and want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families, we invite you to apply today to join our dedicated team at Timber Ridge Animal Medical Center!
