Job Description

A well-established mixed animal veterinary practice near Cisco, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit 2-doctor team! Serving the local community for over two decades, this full-service practice has built an outstanding reputation, backed by hundreds of five-star reviews and a loyal client base spanning both companion animals, exotics, and livestock. The practice offers same-day urgent and emergency care during business hours, alongside a broad, full-service general caseload. The team sees a genuinely diverse mix of species, including dogs, cats, cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, deer, and other exotics, giving you the opportunity to build a caseload around the medicine you enjoy most, whether that leans companion animal, large animal, or a true mix of both. The hospital is well-equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, EKG, and on-site laboratory capabilities. Services span wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter, pet surgery, nutrition counseling, and end-of-life care, along with exotic pet care and pharmacy services. Surgical mentorship opportunities are available for doctors looking to expand their skill set. You'll be supported by an excellent team of high-functioning veterinary technicians, including staff with dedicated large-animal and livestock experience, all within a community-focused, collaborative culture. With no weekend requirements, this role offers a consistent 4-day work week and genuine priority around creating a work-life balance.

About You:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university Hold or be eligible for a Veterinary State License in Texas Compassionate, client-centered approach to care Comfortable practicing independently while enjoying team collaboration Interest in mixed animal medicine is a plus, though not required Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply
