What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
About EPCT:
EPCT is a 24/7, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital that has provided Emergency and Critical Care services to their community since 2015. Our team is enthusiastic about providing gold standard level of care to pets and ensuring that clients feel confident and informed about the care their pet receives. Our Emergency Doctors handle incoming cases through triage, manage hospitalized cases, and perform common emergency surgical procedures such as laceration repairs, exploratory laparotomy, GDV, and splenectomy. We have access to a mobile surgeon for more advanced surgeries and orthopedics. We also offer support and collaborate on cases with referring veterinarians. We have a skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Receptionists who provide competent and comprehensive support to our team of DVMs.Schedule:
- 12 shifts per month
- Primarily overnight but can rotate day shifts
- Shifts are 8am-8pm to 8pm to 8am
