A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

In your day-to-day, you will: Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure. Internship trained or 2 full time years as an Emergency Veterinarian. Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
